Westlawn Middle School Mentoring:

The Westlawn Middle School mentoring program pairs a Westlawn Middle School student who needs help in reading, science, social studies or math, with a NSBE member who wants to make a difference in a student's life. Mentoring only takes 50 minutes a week and the program runs Monday-Friday. Mentors can choose the day and time that best fits their schedule. Materials and lesson plans are also provided for the mentor. The one-on-one help this program offers makes a real difference for students and improves their self-esteem.
